Why did we start Brinton Design & Digital? Picture this: you've got a skill or a passion, and you're ready to turn it into a business. But then you hit a wall of tech jargon and endless digital hassles. One place wants to design your logo, another to build your website, and yet another to handle your ads. It's like piecing together a puzzle without knowing what the picture is supposed to look like. We've been in those shoes—working beside diverse businesses and navigating the maze of digital services as aspiring business owners ourselves.
That’s exactly why we decided there should be a simpler way. Why not have a single, friendly place where you can bring your business dreams, and let someone else take care of the rest? And there’s more—ever felt like experts speak a different language? We sure did. Just like a doctor using medical jargon that sounds like a foreign language, tech talk can be just as alienating. Now that you know the why, let’s dive into the how. Ever since I could hold a pencil, I’ve been drawn to visual arts. I love to sketch, paint, and bring ideas to life. However, as the world turned increasingly digital, I found myself needing to translate my passion for art into a viable career; that’s when I discovered graphic design. After completing my university requirements in creative and critical writing to sharpen my copywriting skills, I dove into obtaining my credentials in graphic design. School exposed me to a wide array of design fields and strategies, sparking a particular passion for web design.
Over the years, while juggling design projects for various companies and clients, and doing bookkeeping for a local business on the side, I refined my graphic and web design expertise to the point where I could transition to a full-time career. However, seemingly my quest for digital knowledge didn't stop there, as I returned to school for IT development and am currently specializing in AI and Machine Learning engineering. Yes, I'm a glutton for punishment when it comes to education, but every step has been worth it.
But enough about me—let’s talk about my business partner and life partner. He’s always had a knack for digital marketing and e-commerce. After years of self-study, he decided to formalize his passion by pursuing a degree in business administration, later obtaining additional credentials and becoming a digital marketing specialist. His passion for e-commerce and digital marketing is evident—he has launched and successfully sold numerous e-commerce websites, managing their international analytics and ensuring their optimization with regular audits.
So, how did we get here? Through our combined years of knowledge and experience in our respective fields, my hands-on experience in business management, and my partner's strategic expertise in digital marketing. We've seen what works and what doesn't, both as insiders and consumers, and we've discussed countless times how we would do things differently if we ran the show. We envisioned a service where anyone with a skill, passion, or hobby could turn it into a business without getting bogged down by the complexity of digital operations. We aim to make the digital world accessible, understandable, and less intimidating, ensuring that our clients always know what we're doing and why.
